A T-square is a technical drawing instrument used by most engineers and architects. It is a guide for drawing horizontal lines and vertical lines. It is a ruler that has 24 inches and has a transparent edge. This type of ruler can be slide down perpendicularly at the top or at the bottom. T-square have two major parts, the head and the blade.
The first part of a T-square is the head, that is used to fastened rapidly at right angles. It is made of plastic with different colors. It is placed on the side of the table, so that you can slid up and down when drawing. If you’re right handed, place the head of the t-square in your left, but when you are left handed, then, the head of the T-square should be place on your right side of the drafting table. This head is the horizontal part of the t-square.
