I would like to know about the salary for those who are engineers-(civil engineers, mechanical engineer, chemical engineers, etc.),....... I have a relative who's an engineer and so is his wife. Thank you!!

What kind of layout is 'aircraft/master layout'? Is 'full size' the actual size!?

In an article explaining layout drawings of engineering drawing, it is said as the following:
' Another type is the aircraft, or master, layout, which is drawn on glass cloth or on steel or aluminum sheets. the object is drawn to full size with extreme accuracy. The completed drawing is photographed with great precision, and a glass negative made. From this negative, photo templates are made on photo-sensitized metal in various sizes and for different purposes, thereby eliminating the need for many conventional detail drawings.'

Yes it shows the part in actual size typically without dimensions. Sounds like a flat pattern drawing used to make brackets and angles from sheet metal. If I recall correctly, these drawings are called Photo Contact Master (PCM) drawings. The drawing shows the detail part in actual size without dimensions. I've seen this type of drawing on mylar sheets. A photographic process is used to duplicate these types of drawings. This ensures accuracy of the drawing as opposed to photocopied paper which can lose its dimensional accuracy from one copy to the next. The technician can either use a scale to measure the dimensions or as in your example, the part outline could actually be "photographed" on the raw material showing where to cut and bend the sheet metal parts.

Where would I find Engineering Drawings for a Fiat Punto?

I want to take one apart and build some sort of mad buggie type thing.

Neither Fiat nor any 3rd party supplier who may have reverse engineered the frame and body parts are going to provide these drawings to the public. Both have far too much invested in the design to make it easy for someone to duplicate them without a substantial entry cost.
