[simpleaffiliate source="chitika" results="0"][/simpleaffiliate] How Do I file software patent and patent on a Title (name)?
Ok so I checked out the U.S. Patent site and they need a design of the invention like a CAD drawing, which I know how to do, but I want to file a patent on a Title for my buisness, and our latest project which is a computer game. You can't draft a name or a software because it isn't tangible. Please help.
Patents are for inventions. A Title is not an invention. You might be thinking of copyright or a Trademark.

From your question, I think you are familiar with these resources. Only folks who are into mapping technologies would list all these applications. I am by no means an expert on these applications, but here is my best shot to quickly answer your question.
You list 6 specific software applications and GIS, which is a technology category. The 6 applications you mention fall into 4 categories: GIS, online mapping, CAD, and virtual globe. Let's look at these 4 categories.
+ GIS: Stands for geographic information systems. GIS is the management, analysis, and dissemination of geospatial data. The GIS application that you mention is MapInfo. This is one of the most powerful and widespread GIS applications, second only to ArcGIS. Here is a nice comparison of GIS applications: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_GIS_software I believe that all of the categories and applications mentioned here are subsets of GIS, but some might argue that CAD is not a subset of GIS.
+ Online Mapping: The two online mapping sites that you mention are Yahoo Maps and MapQuest. Others include Google Maps, and Microsoft Live Search. These browser-based interactive maps allow everyone to view maps, remote sensing data, driving directions, business directory info, etc. MapQuest is one of the earliest online maps. Here is a comparison of online mapping sites: http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/04/17/comparing-the-mapping-services/
+ CAD: Stands for computer-aided design. You mentioned two of the largest CAD suite of applications, AutoCad and MicroStation. CAD models things in the real world (structures) while GIS models the world itself (terrain). However, the differences between GIS and CAD are growing smaller each year. Here is an overview (bit dated) comparing CAD and GIS: http://www.dot.co.pima.az.us/gis/whatis/cad-gis.htm Here is an overview of CAD: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer-aided_design
+ Virtual Globes: You mention Google Earth, by far the most popular virtual globe. Virtual globes are software applications that provide mapping data in a 3D modeled environment. Two other popular virtual globe applications are NASA WorldWind and Microsoft Virtual Earth 3D. Here is an overview of virtual globes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_globe

Architectural Drafting, 2D Drafting For Effective Outputs
Architectural drafting is become vital and must required process for any kind of building. It can be defined as a process for effective architectural drawings for various architectural phases. To get accurate outputs it is must necessary to represent the correct blueprints for contactors and builders. To satisfy this purpose architects are widely using drafting technology with using latest software and technologies. Today much software are providing user friendly environment and allow architects to produce paperless work that can be easily shared online.
Innovations from architects made it competent resource for industry. There are other resources available but it provides transparency and flexible environment so architects prefer it to use for building creation. Builders and contractors are always searching for profitable services to grow their business and drafting can fulfill this requirement.
This technology is used for various types of buildings like residential, commercial, institutional and industrial. In the past time it was very difficult to evaluate drawing and drafting phase for mega structures like industry, bridges and sky scrapers. But after launching AutoCAD, it becomes easy. CAD technology has reduced much technical issues as whole the process takes place on computer. Using AutoCAD Drafting, architects can easily produce drawings for any phase of building.
Innovation of 2D and 3D technology also made more user friendly environment in drafting process. It allows user to visualize their future building from 360 degree. Below some applications are pointed out that are widely used in industry. • Architectural 2D Drafting Drawings • Architectural 2D Drafting Designs • 3D interior Designs • 3D Exterior Designs • 3D Rendering
2D and 3D Drafting is an art of joining lines, dimensions, symbols and other objects and that represents the complete set of drawings. These drawings can be used to form various objects like Floor plans, elevations, wall sections, door-window details, foundation plans, roof sections, lighting drawings, furniture layouts and site lay out design.

Downloaded autocad 2011, 30 day trial version, for my laptop and got an error message that says:
"UNABLE TO RUN AUTOCAD. THIS MAY BE DUE TO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING REASONS: 1. THIS VERSION OF AUTOCAD WAS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY..... 2. YOU DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT RIGHTS"
I uninstalled and removed the program and installed the free autocad student version with the 3 year license (was able to get it with my current college enrollment); and again I got the same message.
I've tried several methods per most cad user's request on message forums including: rebooting the laptop, disabling anti virus, running the program as an admin, running it in safe mode, and deleting certain cad registry keys, but nothing seems to work.
I'm running on:
Dell Latitude E5400 Windows XP 2002, SP3 Intel Core 2 Duo P8400; 2.26 GHz 1.95 GB of RAM
If anyone could help that would be great!

3D Studio Max by Autodesk is an advanced 3D max models and animation toolset that allows you to create complete 3-dimensional worlds with quality rivaling that of game and movie production firms. A large part of the quality attainable using the program is due to 3D Studio Max's material library. The material library allows you to skin any object created in the program with a scan of any material object, from stones to fur. The toolset comes with hundreds of materials included, but gives you the ability to add to them by adding additional libraries.
step by step.
Obtain a new materials library either by purchasing it on a CD or by downloading it from the Internet. Material libraries can be had free of cost from several online sources, included in the resources section. Place the CD containing the library into your CD-Drive or download the library to an easily opened hard-drive location such as your my Documents folder.
Move the material library file to the 3D Studio Max library location located in your MAX's installed path. (ie. D:Program FilesAutodesk3ds Max 2009material libraries).
Start the 3D Studio Max application.
Open the Material Editor in 3D Max models. From the main menu access the Rendering menu and choose "Material Editor." Click the "Ger Material" button on the horizontal toolbox to access the Material/Map Browser.
Select the "Mtl Library" option in the section marked Browse From and click the "Open" button to access a file browser window. Navigate to the material library directory and then choose the library from which you wish to add a material. Material libraries all end with the .MAT extension. The chosen library then loads into the Material/Map Browser.
After adding new materials, you can select them for use like any of the default materials. Select a material to add to your 3D max models scene by browsing through the new materials available in the Material/Map Browser material. Highlight the material to select it for use.

I got some exciting news today: ZWSOFT announced that ZWCAD 2011 Beta had the SolProf command. I became familiar with this feature years ago when I was learning how to use AutoCAD software. I have been waiting for this function when I switched to ZWCAD with the 2007 version. And now my wish comes true with ZWCAD 2011. SolProf is short for "solid profiles," and is only for 3D designers; probably, most users may not concern about it. Anyway, I like it and make good use of it in my designs.
I would like to share with you how I use SolProf. If you use SolProf in other ways, I hope that you share the techniques with us, too.
Here is the typical use for this command. I have mechanical drawings of 3D objects. I know that if I am going to manufacture this component, I have to convert the drawings to 2D plans of several different viewpoints, and then add dimensions to size the parts. For example, the figure below shows the drawing of a 3D part.
1. The first step before using SolProf is to split the drawing into four viewports to show three sides (top, side, front) and an isometric view. This arrangement clearly shows what the object looks like.
2. The second step is to start the SolProf command, and then apply it four times, once on each viewport. I've captured the command history so that you can see that it is not very complicated.
Command: SOLPROF Select object: (Choose object in one viewport.) Entities in set: 1 Select object: (Press Enter to continue.) Display hidden profile lines on separate layer? [Yes/No] [Y]: (Enter Y.) Project profile lines onto a plane? [Yes/No] [Y]: (Enter Y.)
I would like to give a brief explanation about the meaning of the last two options:
"Display hidden profile lines on separate layer? [Yes/No]" * Y means that two blocks will be created, one for visible lines, and the other for the profile's hidden lines. (Hidden lines are those at the back of the part.) I recommend that you enter Y. * N means all visible and hidden lines will be created as one block.
"Project profile lines onto a plane? [Yes/No]" * Y means the profile lines will be generated on one plane. I recommend that you enter Y. * N means the profile lines will be 3D.
The picture below shows the result after using SolProf. You can see that the profile lines were generated from the 3D object. In addition, several related layers were created to segregate profile lines, such as PH-1DF and PV-1DF.
3. What I did was get the profile lines from the 3D object. At this point, I could turn off original 3D object's layers in the Layers Manager, and then change the line types and line weights of profile lines. See figure below. This makes the profile lines look nicer and makes them easier to work with.
4. Each viewport now has its own set of profile lines, making it convenient to modify them, such as adding dimensions and placing text.
If there were no function like SolProf, I could not imagine how I would go about getting profile lines. Probably, I would need to set the 3D object on a plane, and then trace its shape by drawing 2D lines or something like that.

How to design Roof Truss layout and related Truss drawings
Roof trusses are widely used in residential and wood framed commercial projects. A roof truss is usually cost-effective and quick in construction than a roof framed with rafters. A roof truss is crafted from small pieces of lumber; it is then fabricated in a shop and after that set up at the site.
When we start designing a house we first create a truss layout which shows places where trusses will be fit in the roof, anticipated shapes of the top & bottom of the truss, plate heights and estimation of load on the trusses. The builder then gives this layout to its truss supplier. The truss supplier prepares actual design of each individual truss according to our roof design layout. The truss supplier may propose some modifications in the design because they have slightly different preferences to construct the truss using available proprietary software and CAD tools. Truss drawings as prepared by the truss supplier are then sent to the Architect for a review.
The architect forward these drawings to a truss engineer who further examines various parameters such as the size of home, dead/live loads based on geometry, required truss span and roof pitches and give final go ahead for fabrication. The completed truss drawings show precise placement of trusses in the roof structure and precise inter-relation of truss members.
A truss is normally designed to transmit dead and live loads to other members in the structure. With regards to new home construction, a dead load is the burden of static components like the truss itself, roof beams, roofing materials, sheathing and ceiling material. A live load is dynamic in nature, such as wind, snow, furniture, movable loads, etc. Trusses are crafted to prevent flexing and bending and are usually tied together with tooth like metal plates made from galvanized steel or metal.
The common truss contains parallel sides so as to have a nearly same pitch on both sides of a center point. A lot depends on the interior ceiling design and roof pitches of your home when designing a layout for roof truss. Roof truss design allows flexibility to change the interior space as the truss normally be placed on an outside wall, leaving the interior space free for you to design and decorate accordingly. Trusses come in a wide range of designs giving you a creative freedom to change the ceiling design!

CRM - Customer Relationship Management Software For a Fast Growing Business
Many companies have been using CRM or Customer Relationship Management in their business as an instrument in reaching out more customers and keeping their loyalty in the company's hands. CRM is a strategy that has been proven to be effective in promoting the growth of a company. What's most important in a business is the customer. That is why it is necessary to effectively manage every aspect concerning customer's needs and satisfaction in order to draw more customers in and draw recent and long-time customers back. This, in turn, will generate more revenue to your business.
What exactly is a CRM? And what is a CRM software? How does it help your business satisfy your customers and gain more from them?
CRM which means Customer Relationship Management is a strategy or method in business to find, acquire, nurture, and retain customers through ceaseless communications and analysis of customer's patterns, behaviors, and transactions. CRM Software, on the other hand, is an application that, aside from other features, manages data incorporating marketing, leads, sales, feedback, and support that is gathered and used in analyzing customers to meet their needs and gain more leads, and in communicating to address issues and feedback from customers in order to maintain a strong relationship with them.
Simple CRM methods can be done to maintain healthy relationship with your customers such as sending friendly greeting cards and sending an invitation for the launching of a new product or service. However, when your business is growing and there are tons of customers to follow up and are in need of your assistance, simple methods may no longer make any significant developments to your business. To keep a continuing relationship with a massive number of customers, it is necessary to automate the process of CRM. Thus, a CRM software is definitely a tool that you should invest in your business that will further promote its growth.
A CRM software includes many features that help your business grow in a very easy and convenient fashion. With all these features many advantages can be taken from using a CRM software. Here are some of the features and advantages that are usually offered in a CRM software.
Sales Force Automation. It simplifies the sales process and makes your business accommodate every customers looking to buy your product or use your service. While every transaction is made, data is kept and organized to generate a report accounting the progress of your sales. Data about leads are kept as well to take actions to convert leads into sales making sure that your business is selling at the optimum level.
Marketing Solutions. It supports marketing activities to make it more easier for your business to reach more customers and generate leads and eventually make more sales. It automates the process of marketing by distributing marketing campaigns through emails and mobile SMS. It also helps you track the success of your campaigns and reports how many responses you get from your marketing efforts.
Customer Service. It records communications made by you and your customer and adds the data to your customer's database of contact history. You can also view these records to keep track on a customer's needs and make ways to provide your customer the satisfaction that will make him keep coming back to you. The most important part of CRM is the "Relationship" part. Keeping your customers loyal to you will keep your business moving forward so it is crucial to maintain an open line of communication with your customers.
Customer Analysis. It keeps records of your customers' profile and use this data to analyze the type of customers that make good relationship in your business. You can use this data to identify potential customers and come up with a strategy to determine what type of people to target in your marketing campaigns. It also helps you cross sell other products in your business by analyzing transactions made by your customers and knowing the kind of customers you have and how to satisfy their needs.
There are two types of CRM softwares that you can choose from depending on the type of host that manages your files of data incorporating the CRM of your business. You can choose from a locally hosted CRM software or from a remotely hosted CRM service. Both of these types of CRM software has certain advantages and disadvantages.
A locally hosted CRM software is one in which all files are stored and managed at your own server or your own computer. Because it is installed in your server, you have full control of the software and every data that you record with it. The disadvantage of using a locally hosted CRM software is that there are a lot of work to be done and many things to consider with you having the full responsibility of your software. Time and money can be spent quite a lot and technical expertise might be required in the maintenance, security, and upgrading of your software.
The other type of CRM software is the remotely hosted CRM service. This CRM software is hosted and run in a server of a CRM provider. The company is responsible for all the security, maintenance, and upgrading of the CRM software. To use the service, all you need to do is register in their site and log in online whenever you need to work on your CRM. If any problem arises, the company's support team is always there to fix it. The disadvantage of a remotely hosted CRM software is the possibility that the site or company may shutdown or the service can stop at their own discretion. With this, there is a chance that you will lose all your data if the company does not provide you a backup.
Here are some tips in selecting the best CRM software for you. Choose the CRM software that best fits the size of your business. CRM softwares come in different prices ranging from totally free to thousands of dollars. Look for the CRM software that just meets the needs of your business. Some of the essential features to look for in a CRM software are contact database support, reporting, analytics, and capability to integrate into your networking system. The software should be easy to use for you or one that corresponds well to the expertise level of the people involved in the CRM. Some good CRM softwares also offer capability to connect to mobile devices to make networking with your people more convenient especially your business sales force.
Customer Relationship Management is definitely vital to any business. When your business is growing to a much larger scale, perhaps it might be time for you to use a crm software that perfectly fits to your business. This will automate your sales force, marketing, and costumer service. Then you can watch your business grow even more.

How can you create balance between your work and personal lives? What are the best ways to attract girls and young women to the engineering field? Can women succeed in male-dominated professions?
These and other questions were addressed on 22 and 23 March, when the third annual "Global Marathon For, By and About Women in Engineering" took place online, over the phone, on video, and in person from locations worldwide. The 24-hour marathon was created by the National Engineers Week Foundation and coincided with Women's History Month in the United States. It was sponsored by Lenovo and Verizon Business.
The event attracted hundreds of participants from more than a dozen countries, and offered more than 50 sessions highlighting opportunities in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for women in many countries.
SUCCEEDING IN A MALE-DOMINATED PROFESSION
A number of sessions focused on or discussed the role of women in engineering, a field traditionally filled by men.
"Sometimes, you might be the only woman in the room. And that's fine. You get used to it," said Elizabeth Alwin, Sr. Network Engineer, Verizon Business, as part of the 23 March session, "Four Women and a Leading-Edge Network". "You may have the perception that when they're listening to you, you're not being taken seriously. You may need to go above and beyond sometimes so you make sure you learn everything you need for your job, so when you are talking or making presentations, you need to know what you are talking about."
Lynn Z. Linn, Executive Director of Global Infrastructure Services for Lenovo IT, felt that women have greater potential in technology fields because they stand out from the crowd. "Women [are] more likely to be remembered for good performance," she said during her presentation, "Is Engineering a field that prevents women from being successful?", on 23 March.
A listener in one session asked why there are fewer women in engineering management. "That will change the more women enter the profession and as men meet more women in their profession earlier in their careers," answered Ruth Shelley, Vice President of Silicon Design Engineering, AMD, during a 23 March talk on diversity in the workplace.
CREATING WORK-LIFE BALANCE
Throughout the 24-hour Global Marathon, presenters and listeners ruminated on the life of a working mother.
"It is a challenge," said Judith Spitz, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Verizon Business. Addressing three high-school science students during the Global Marathon's closing session, she advised "You have to figure out where to draw the lines between how much you want to work and how much you want to be at home. Wherever that line is, wherever you're comfortable with it, that's where you should draw it. There's no wrong answer."
"There's no real silver bullet for this work-life balance," said Nan Mattai, Sr. VP, Engineering & Technology, Rockwell Collins, during her 22 March session about college and career strategies. "Everyone has got different circumstances. You've got dual-career families. You've got single parents. You've got people taking care of their aging parents. Everyone has different commitments taking up their time. As I moved up the career ladder I realized that there are some times I have going to have to give 90% to my time to work and then there are other times I have going to have to give 90% to personal life, to my family, and what's really important is that flexibility and adaptability to whatever the priorities are."
SUPPORTING GIRLS INTO TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONS
"Helping girls into the profession is more important than it ever was," said Frances O'Sullivan, co-chair of the marathon and senior vice president of the Product Group at Lenovo Group Ltd. "It's like a marketing problem," she said, explaining why she agreed to participate in the event. "If you aren’t aware [of the profession], you're not considering [it]. It's a fun job If you like to feel things, if you like to say that you worked on something, it's tangible, you can see it. I think we need more technical people, period."
During the Marathon's kick-off session, co-chair Sally Ride discussed how girls need to be encouraged to stay involved in science and technology. "Girls don't get less smart," said Ride, President and CEO of Sally Ride Science. "Once you know you're good at science and technology and like it, the more likely you are to stay with it."
In her 22 March presentation, "The Supergirl Dilemma: Girls Grapple with the Mounting Pressure of Expectations," Heather Johnston Nicholson, Ph.D., Director of Research for Girls Incorporated, offered several tips for how adults can support girls, including: listen to what girls have to say; empower them to set priorities and make smart choices; and learn about and spread the work about stereotypes and their consequences. "A lot of girls hear that their main job is to please everyone," said Nicholson. "That sets up undoable conflicts."
Other topics addressed during the 24-hour event included making the transition from school to career; the pressure of expectations; ways female engineers can set themselves apart in their profession; and the importance of creativity and interpersonal skills in engineering.
Want to hear more about what the speakers at the Global Marathon had to say? Most of the sessions were recorded and archived online, and can be replayed in MP3 audio or full video. Supporting materials such as PowerPoint presentations and a career guide are also available for download. Visit http://www.eweek.org/site/News/Eweek/2007_marathon/schedule.shtml

It is becoming easier to create three-dimensional models using photography software tools. But virtual models won't give you the same understanding of a structure that a three-dimensional physical model will produce. A physical model allows the viewer to see the mass of the object and its relationship with surrounding objects. It can also answer questions or show areas where a design doesn't work free 3d models. These are equally important since making a model is inexpensive compared to constructing a full size house, building or large object.
Step by Step.
Photocopy the floor plan, roof plan and elevations of the building you want to model. A floor plan is what you would see if you pulled the roof off a house and looked straight down into the house. An elevation is what you see looking straight at any side of the house.
Cut out the floor plan around the outside edges. Spray adhesive on the back side of the trimmed floor plan. Mount the floor plan to a foam core board that is 25 to 50 percent larger than your floor plan. Center the floor plan. You want the base board large enough to draw in driveways, sidewalks, decks or other landscape features to help position your model in its environment.
Trim around the outside of each elevation. Cut off the roof. Because elevations are straight on views, often a section of the building that is recessed (like an entry door) will appear to be flush. By looking at the floor plan you can see the actual alignment of the walls to find recessed areas. Cut the recessed sections away from other areas of the elevation at the corners where the recess begins and ends. Set aside your recessed sections for later.
Spray adhesive to the back of each of your elevations and recessed sections and mount these to foam core. Cut out each elevation and recessed section with a metal straight edge and sharp artist knife.
Miter the corners of your walls to join them evenly. To make a miter, tape a metal ruler so that the edge of the ruler overhangs the edge of the table by at least 1/4-inch. Place your elevation so that the corner line you want to trim is aligned with the ruler's edge. Tape down your elevation. Place a second metal ruler over the top of the elevation 1/4-inch from the edge of the first ruler. These rulers should be parallel.
Cut a 45-degree angle using a serrated or saw edged knife. You can also use a hot wire cutter if you have one. Angle the cutting edge to touch both of the edges of the rulers as guides. This will produce mitered cuts. Outside corners cut toward the inside of the foam core. Inside corners cut toward the outside of the foam core. Position your walls over the floor plan to see which walls are outside corners and which are inside corners. Draw lines for the corner angles on the top edge of your foam core to help you line up properly. Cut all of your corner cuts. You may have small recessed exterior walls that are not visible on the elevation. These will show on the floor plan. Cut and miter these walls at the same time free 3d models.
Apply a bead of white glue to the bottom of the front exterior wall and position that wall over the floor plan. Glue along the mitered corner. Find the corresponding corner from the side elevation. Add glue to the bottom of the second wall and press the mitered corners together. Insert straight pins at the top and bottom of the corner, through the miters to hold the corner square while the glue dries. Repeat for all walls.
Build a roof using the roof plan and following the same techniques. You will need to notch the underside of the foam core where the roof overhangs the exterior wall. Use a ruler and sharp knife to make a V-notch at these locations. Do not cut all the way through the foam core board. Glue the roof together as a single piece and add pins to help hold it together. The roof should lift off the model if you want to view the interior space free 3d models.
HxD Hex Editor provides tools to inspect and edit files, main memory, disks/disk images and their structure, using a simple and modern interface. You can employ it to analyze big log files, patch ROM files for emulators, repair disk structures, validate data or search for game cheats. Features of HxD include efficient handling of huge files, fast and flexible search & replace, file comparison, checksum & hash generation, exporting to several formats (source code, formatted output like HTML, hex files for EEPROM programming), a file shredder, a file splitter/joiner, and graphical statistics. Version 1.7.7.0 is a bug fixing release.
HxD Hex Editor 1.7.6.4 is a Text Editor product from mh-nexus.de, get 5 Stars SoftSea Rating, HxD is a carefully designed and fast hex editor which, additionally to raw disk editing and modifying of main memory (RAM), handles files of any size. The easy-to-use interface offers features such as searching and replacing, exporting, checksums/digests, insertion of byte patterns, a file shredder, concatenation or splitting of files, statistics and much more. Editing works like in a text editor with a focus on a simple and task-oriented operation, as such functions were streamlined to hide differences that are purely technical. For example, drives and memory are presented similar to a file and are shown as a whole, in contrast to a sector/region-limited view that cuts off data which potentially belongs together. Drives and memory can be edited the same way as a regular file including support for undo. In addition memory-sections define a foldable region and inaccessible sections are hidden by default. Furthermore a lot of effort was put into making operations fast and efficient, instead of forcing you to use specialized functions for technical reasons or arbitrarily limiting file sizes. This includes a responsive interface and progress indicators for lengthy operations. Features: * Available as a portable and installable edition * RAM-Editor * Disk-Editor (Hard disks, floppy disks, ZIP-disks, USB flash drives, CDs, ...) * Instant opening regardless of file-size * Liberal but safe file sharing with other programs * Flexible and fast searching/replacing for several data types * File compare (simple) * View data in Ansi, DOS, EBCDIC and Macintosh character sets * Checksum-Generator: Checksum, CRCs, Custom CRC, SHA-1, SHA-512, MD5, ... * Exporting of data to several formats * Insertion of byte patterns * File shredder for safe file deletion * Splitting or concatenating of files * Graphical representation of the byte/character distribution * Helps to identify the data type of a selection * 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 bytes packed together into one column * "Hex only" or "text only"-modes * Progress-window for lengthy operations * Modified data is highlighted * Unlimited undo * "Find updates..."-function * Easy to use and modern interface * Goto address * Printing * Overwrite or insert mode * Cut, copy, paste insert, paste write * Clipboard support for other hex editors * Bookmarks * Navigating to nibbles with Ctrl+Left or Ctrl+Right * Flicker free display and fast drawing The license of this file & disk software is Freeware, you can free download and free use this File & Disk software.
