What is the best technical drawing software to design taps?

That you dont need a pHD in cad to use.

Thanks in Advance

It depends on the end application, if you're talking about drawings for tooling then your only option is really Auto-Cad.

If however you want drawings that give the tool maker a good idea with dimensions and details as development drawings - then the use of Adobe Illustrator is good.

Unfortunately, in my personal experience they both require quite a bit of hands on experience and time to produce the results that are needed.

I think you'd find more illustrator free tutorials online though to help you get started.

Where can I search for the relevant software?

Is there a site that tells us what is the relevant software to use for our use?

For example, if we need to draw technical drawings on the PC, is there a site to tell us what software to use? Likewise, if we need an anti viral program, is there a site that tells us which anti viral program to select? Or, if we need to do certain work, is there a site that tells us which is the best software to use for our work?

Is there a site that tells us what is the most relevant software to use for a work we need to do?
IS THERE A WEBSITE THAT CAN TELL ME WHAT IS THE SOFTWARE I CAN USE TO DO CERTAIN TASK I NEED TO DO?

Try osalt.com. This is a site that lists open source software packages, which are available for free (legally).
