What is the difference between a Structural Engineers Report and a Structural Survey?

What is the difference between a Structural Engineers Report and a Structural Survey more commonly known as a Building Survey?

I don't have much of a knowledge about the same but as much as i have i would like to tell you that structural engineer's report means that the structure on which the building is going to be created like the columns, the dimension, the sizes, the width of the iron rods that are going to be used in creating the structure which is approved by the authorities. Whereas Structural survey's is the survey done by the official person to check whether the work is being done according to the norms mentioned in the structural report. The building materials that is used is correct or not.

Home Building Materials can be purchased from the an home improvement store online as well which can provide you with varieties of options.
