Some 3d geometry advice???
I need to find a textbook that deals with problems involving interpentrating solids. Specifically what is the maximum number of pieces that can be produced when polyhedra intersect polyhedra? I've already looked in engineering drawing books, but the ones I looked in only deal with how to draw interpenetrations, not how to calculate the maximum of bounded volumes. I am hoping there is an engineer or mathematician out there who could point me to a specific textbook (a title) that covers such issues, so that I can order it. Thanks
