so im going to high school next year and im really excited. but i dont know what classes i should take. i want to take classes that would look good on a college application. i would also want to go to one of the top colleges like princeton or yale. Here are my choices:
BUSINESS DEPARTMENT-
business service tech 1, general business, word processing
ENGLISH DEPARTMENT-
literacy(reading for the real world), speech 1, journalism, yearbook
FINE ARTS DEPARTMENT-
art appreciation, art foundation, drawing fundamentals,drama
FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT-
french 1, french 2, german 1, german 2, spanish 1, spanish 2, japanese 1
INDUSTRIAL ARTS DEPARTMENT-
woodworking, small engine repair 1, design/engineering 1-CAD, architecture1-CAD, intro to electricity and electronics
LIFESKILLS DEPARTMENT-
career connections, food and nutrition
PHYSICAL DEPARTMENT-
physical activity for 9 grade, aerobics
Well, learn to capitalize for one thing. And it really depends on what you are planning to do after school. I'd recommend taking speech classes, though; the experience generally comes in handy.
