Do you know a good software to build houses with?
Looking to buy some software that is used to design and plan a house. I am interested in architecture and have drawn - by hand, some floor plans.
Can anyone out there recommend some software that is easy to use and lets you plan things such as square footage, electrical, plumbing etc.?
if you want some cheap (sort of) software, look for Home Architect Design Deluxe 6.0. I used this program in myarchitecturall drawing and design class (high school). it's a very basic and easy to use program, but it lets you put generic furniture, paints, carpets, and other finished on your house. it lets you enter dimensions, place lights, sockets, plan wiring. very basic - not super detailed and doesn't include plumbing and what not. still for the price (i don't know exactly, but teacher said it wasn't outrageous) a great program, esp. foramateurss, and a pro could help you use you drawing on the program to make a finalized blue print.
