Engineering Drawing For Manufacture

engineering drawing for manufacture
I have patented an idea but the next step is to get a product design engineer?

to draw plans so it can be manufactured. This costs €1,500 per day and who knows how long it will take. Can anyone suggest a government body or someone that may invest/ provide a cash injection for a cut of the company? It has fantastic potential and I have spoken to companies in a similiar field who advised they will talk to me when I have the product manufactured. I dont want to lose because i cannot afford to put up all the cash myself....suggestions greatly appreciated!!!

You have an idea - that's all. With the exception of making presentations and selling your prodict and its concept, you have to do all the things you mentioned AND a few more. You haven't patented anything.

In the PTO [Patent and Trademark Office]. there's an expression:
"Unless acted on, ideas are a dime a dozen"

These are the things you need to do to bring your idea and invention to the marketplace.

You need to write- down your idea on paper.

A general practitioner or corporate attorney simply will not do. You need to consult a good, reputable patent attorney in your area.

You need to make a prototype.

You need to design a business plan to perhaps get it patented.

You need to raise money from a venture capitalist so you can get your invention into production to go on the market.

Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!
