Drawing ,coloring and adding pictures software ?
What is the easiest to use for free ? I'am not looking to make a masterpiece just a simple Crest with colors and some pictures.
I tried GIMP and it would take me forever just to get used to using it.
I made 3 straight lines that took me a half hour to do . Then I added the Ellipse effect to round out the bottom , after I added it , I could not get it to be a solid circle , it was flashing dots. Then I would have to erase parts of it which I do not know how long it would take me to figure that out.
I seen a video on youtube that shows" how to do it" but when I select NONE like in the video the Ellipse dissapears.
Anything talored towards kids out there?
Someone should make a drawing software for dummies , i would buy it.
The problem with "simple" software is that the easier it is to use, the less it can do.
Take the Paint program that comes free with Windows software. It is fairly simple to use, but it also doesn't do much. That's why more robust applications are created and why people, particularly professionals, are willing to spend hundreds of dollars to purchase apps like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, Dreamweaver and so many others.
To make even reasonably simple programs to actually be easy to operate, the user has to take the time to learn it's features. There is no software in the world that will actually do a drawing for you. Computer graphics applications are only tools that can only do the job in the hands of a skilled user. Even the pencil can only do what the skill of the artist allows it to do.
