Floor Plan Drawing Software Free

Simple architectural software program?

I just mapped the electrical circuits in my home so I know which breaker is associated with every outlet and switch. I drew it all on a piece of paper and it's accurate but messy.

Is there a simple architectural program that will allow me to draw my floor plan and add outlets, switches, and ceiling lights and indicate which breaker they're associated with? I'll also need to show which switches control which lights.

Since I'll probably only need this one time, I'm hoping there's a free program somewhere. I don't need anything fancy, but basic drawing programs like Paint just aren't meant for this.

I use MS Paint to do a lot of drawings and some of them have actually been published in my companies procedures. I've also done a lot of evacuation maps for our buildings. The program is very easy to use and once you get used to it you'll be using it for everything.
One tip I'll give you (Because everyone complains about this) is when you want to print it you have to go into "page setup" and set it to "Fit to" "1 page x 1 page".
Good luck
Chris

PS: save it as a jpeg file so it won't take up so much room on the hard drive and it is easier to email.

One more tip.
When drawing a line, square or circle.
If you hold down the "shift" key while drawing it will make a perfect square or circle and for a line it will automatically snap the line to 0, 45 or 90 degrees.
