Can you get a drafting job w/ just an AA in technical drawing?
I've always been a hands on kinda guy. I have enough credit hours and courses that I could easily make an AA in techincal drawing, CADD or otherwise in electronics or mechanical. I don't think I could handle much engineering. I'm not looking to be an architect or anything, I just like creating tech drawings. Possible or more needed? thx
You can get a drafting job with only an AA in technical drawing at some locations that are willing to also give their own training to bring you up to their requirements. There are Intern programs that will do the same. Of course, with a B.A. or higher, you can make more money starting out. Good luck.
