Ubuntu Studio software help?

So is Unbuntu Studio free and safe? I want to download it, but need some help.
Can I import a drawing I did and make the drawing move with Ubuntu Studio?
If so, how? Thank you!

Ubuntu studio is free. It is an Operating System which is optimized for running free graphics programs. I'm not exactly sure what is on it but Synfig, a vector-based program, is commonly used for animation in the Linux world and I just reinstalled it on this computer despite having had no luck with it in the past. Importing a drawing onto Linux is pretty straightforward once you have it on readable media but how you are going to make it move is something I can't help you with. Oh. It is an Operating system. This means you have to reformat at least the partition you are going to install it to unless you are running it from a live cd or dvd or usb stick or are running it in a virtual machine. I would find a computer nerd to help you with it. And Linux is a derivative of UNIX. That means it is hard. Period.

Here is its home page:

You download an iso file, burn it to disk thus:

and reboot with the disk inside your cdrom/dvd drive. Of course if you want to keep Windows there is a lot to do before you reboot and no you don't HAVE to keep it in your drive if you are not ready to install, but you will boot into Ubuntu. It runs on many older computers as well as new ones -- but earlier than 2003 computers I wouldn't bother.
