What is the best software for drawing art?
Ive written a childrens book and have some art skills. Id ideally like to illustrate the book using a computer paint and draw package, does anyone have any suggestions for a good one?
If you have some illustrations or pics that you would want to tweak or add to, then Photoshop CS2 is your best bet. Download some free brushes from the Internet while you are at it.
Adobe Illustrator CS2 is extremely handy, but expensive. You can download a trial version of either this or photoshop on adobe.com.
Also, if you are interested in getting the layout of your book on your own, then you can use Adobe InDesign CS2.
I would suggest that you use a pen tablet instead of a mouse for your drawing. It will be easier, once you get used to the highly sensitive pen going wild. :-)
