what are your thoughts on my engineering drawing?
I am studying engineering at university we were given a set of blueprints to of a pump and asked to construct a cutaway and exploded scale drawing using drawing boards and traditional methods what do you think of my results?
pls bear in mind i have worked from plans and have never actually seen the item

You have done a really good job on both of them, but I do see some areas you need to work on. Most of the bolts in the exploded view need to have the threads redone to look more uniform. Two of them caught my eye as to appear damaged. Also, it seems that the lines don't quite match up on the bottom plate's far corner.
On the second one, it has a similar problem with the bottom plate. The expulsion bolt needs to be fixed so that the double line appearance does not show. I know you are not done cleaning up the drawings, but little things like that can be forgotten when you turn the design in for a grade.
I am a certified draftsman, and know the importance of highly detailed work. Good luck with the engineering degree. These would look really nice if you inked them, and did some hatch shading on them. I see you omitted threading to give the appearance of shading. Nice work.
